Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the evaporation of solution or moisture through a slidably movable section of a piston to smoothly move the piston and dispense contents by providing an outer container around the peripheral surface of an inner container in enclosing relationship and an air passage formed between these containers. CONSTITUTION:A passage 11 of a stem 9 and a nozzle 12 are opened by pushing a lever 7, and subsequently a reverse valve 6 is operated so as to dispense the content between a piston 10 and the reverse valve 6 from the nozzle 12. Upon releasing the lever 7, the stem 9 and the piston 10 are placed back into action to open the valve 6 so as to charge the content from an inner container 3 in a distribution pump 1. Also, due to a pressure reducing force acting on the content in the inner container 3, the piston 4 is moved upwardly. During this time, the air is supplied between an outer container 2 and the inner container 3 through an air passage 5 and through an air passage 13 opened by the down motion of the piston 10. Since the replaced air is allowed to enter into the outer container 2 when only operating the pump 1, the removal of moisture from or drying of the content due to the evaporation through a slidably movable portion of the piston 4 and hence the quality deterioration can be prevented, even if it is left standing for a long time.
