CONSTITUTION: To retain shoes, a stud 16 is inserted forward. When the stud 16 engages with the cam surface 28 of a clamping member 25, the cam surface 28 is protruded downwards by action of a spring 10. The stud 16 presses a plate 4 and is kept at a clamping condition by side checks 18, 19 and a rear wall part 20. To release the shoes, the shoes may be just turned around a shaft 5 so as to make the plate 4 open position. To retain the plate 4 at an open position, the retaining member 25 operates, thereby releasing the shoes. It is thus possible to fix the shoes on a pedal completely, and release it easily.
