Abstract

PURPOSE:To give a good ride in a leaf spring type suspension device by providing a damping force variable damper and increasing the damping force of the damping force variable damper at the time of rapid increase in wind-up torque. CONSTITUTION:A small-size damping force variable oil damper 20 is provided in parallel right in front of an oil damper 15, the upper end thereof is linked to a pin member 22 projecting inside a rear frame 1 while the lower end thereof is linked to nearly the center of the front half part of a leaf spring 4. The damping force of the damping force variable oil damper 20 is controlled by a control device 21. That is, the operating quantity of an accelerator pedal which is stepped in is detected by an accelerator sensor and inputted into the control device 21. When the increasing rate of the accelerator operating quantity gets above a defined value, the control device 21 controls the actuator 20a of a damper 20 to increase a damping force. By this structure, a wind-up torque at the time of starting a vehicle can be suppressed preventing a riding quality from lowering.
