Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a coating operation and thick coating by coating a compsn. prepd. by mixing aggregate adjusted in a grain size distribution to a specific acrylic reactive resin on the inside surface of a rotating tubular body and curing the resin under rotation. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. having a self-leveling property is prepd. by mixing the aggregate adjusted in the grain size distribution with the acrylic reactive resin essentially consisting of at least one kind of monomer component selected from (meth)acrylic acid and the ester thereof and a polymer component which dissolves or swells in the monomer component. While the tubular body is rotated around its axis, the above-mentioned compsn. is coated on the inside surface of the pipe and is cured under rotation, by which the inside surface of the tubular body is coated. The coating is preferably executed while oscillations are applied to the tubular body together with the rotation. The aggregate having >=2 peaks in the grain size distribution is more preferable.
