Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the attachment of a roll paper by providing a support roller parallel to the axis of the roll paper on the bottom of a container attaching the fully wound roll paper contacting the front wall, and supporting the paper roll behind the center of the paper roll with the support roller. CONSTITUTION:A roll paper 10 is contained to contact the front wall 17a of a container 17 and a support roller 18 on the bottom of container. The support roller 18 is disposed rotatably behind the center X-X of roll paper 10 parallel to the axis of roll paper. When the roll paper 10 is pulled and rotated by a record paper 12, the paper roll frictionally contacts the front wall, but contacts the support roller 18 on the bottom without any friction to reduce rotational friction. As the diameter of roll paper 10 is reduced, the roll paper loses the support of support roller 18 and contacts the bottom wall 17b. However, since the weight of roll paper is reduced, the frictional force between the roll paper and the bottom is small. Thus, the attachment of fully wound roll paper is simplified only by dropping the roll paper into the container 17.
