Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate oxygen without contacting the contents in a vessel, by laminating synthetic resin film permeable to oxygen/water on both sides of an iron foil to the surface of which a hydrophilic coating layer has been applied. CONSTITUTION:When a matter obtained by metallizing partially the surface of an iron foil with a metal whose ionizing tendency is lower than that of iron is used by selecting the iron foil as a deoxidation material, an oxygen absorbing rate is enlarged. The surface of the iron foil is covered with a hydrophilic coating layer, a hydrophilic film plays a role of a water retention layer and oxygen absorbing capacity is increased greatly. A material of 0.1mm or thinner is used as the iron foil. A cellulose derivative is suitable as substance forming a hydrophilic film, as the same forms a homogeneous and uniform film from a material point of view. A thickness of the hydrophilic film falls within a range of 0.05-0.2mum. A film laminate having the oxygen absorbing capacity is manufactured by laminating the iron foil, whose surface has been covered with the hydrophilic film, with a synthetic resin film. A polyolefin resin film and silicone resin film are available as the synthetic resin film. Heat sealing of circumferences of the synthetic resin films laminated on both the surfaces of the iron foil is performed, and exposure of an iron foil part is prevented.
