Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a method for cleaning dyeing equipment comprising treatment of deposits on a dyeing machine predominant in organic matter with a treatment solution containing an alkaline agent, a peroxide and a surfactant to readily detach and remove the deposits from the machine without affecting the material of dyeing equipment including the above machine. CONSTITUTION: This method for cleaning dyeing equipment comprises treatment of deposits on a dyeing machine predominant in organic matter with a treatment solution at normal temperatures to 150 deg.C (pref. 100-150 deg.C) for 5-60 min to readily detach and remove the deposits from the machine without affecting the material of dyeing equipment including the above machine; wherein the treatment solution is an aqueous solution containing each 0.05-5 wt.% of the following components A, B and C: (A) an alkaline agent such as sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate, sodium carbonate or sodium phosphate, (B) a peroxide such as hydrogen peroxide, sodium percarbonate or ammonium persulfate, and (C) a surfactant such as anionic, nonionic, amphoteric one(s) or combination thereof.
