Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a communication helmet excellent in workability, profitability and safety by connecting an electrically insulating head band having an antenna therein to an ear cover equipped with a communication apparatus and subsequently detachably attaching the ear cover-connected head band to the cap body of the helmet. CONSTITUTION: This helmet improved in receiving sensitivity and expanded in transmitting distances is obtained by connecting an ear cover 5 equipped with a communication apparatus 7 to the lower end of an electrically insulating head band 4 comprising a polycarbonate resin or the like and having an antenna 6 comprising a copper foil or aluminum foil therein, tightly adhering the formed ear cover-connected head band 3 to the outer surface of the helmet cap 1, and subsequently engaging the edge parts of the helmet cap body 1 with fixing tools 8, 9 to detachably attach the ear cover-having head band 3 to the helmet cap body.
