Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable sudden use and to prevent the waste of an analysis slide by judging the deficiency of quantity of light and the life of a light source and setting a usable state. CONSTITUTION:This chemical analysis apparatus is constituted to chemically analyze specific components by dropping a specimen to the analysis slide 2 to effect a reaction and measuring a change in the density of color by the reaction by a measuring means 4. A means 1 for correcting a fluctuation in the quantity of the light measures the quantity of the light before or after the measurement of the analysis slide 2 to correct the fluctuation in the quantity of the light of the light source. A control means 3 compares the quantity of the light with a preset quantity of light in accordance with the measured quantity of the light and judges the deficiency of the quantity of the light and the life of the light source. Judgment is made that the light source is near the life at the level at which the decrease in the quantity of the light is small. An exchange of the light source is then alarmed by an alarming means 5.
