Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce NOx and to widen the variable range of the quantity of air to increase TDR by forming a large number of fuel ejection paths which are branched from a fuel passage and other end openings of which form burner ports, and integrally forming a flange rectangularly intersecting a fuel ejecting path at the overlapped end part of a metal plate. CONSTITUTION:The burner 13 is formed by a single metal plate, and a cylindrical fuel passage part 17 is formed at a folded part 16 of the burner 13. A large number of fuel ejection paths 19 branched from the fuel passage part 17 are formed at the overlapped part 18, and the opening part of the fuel ejection path 19 are used as burner ports 20. A flange 21, elongated in the direction rectangularly intersecting the fuel ejection path 19 on both sides from the overlapped part 18, has a bent piece 22 at one end part, and an engaging part 23 is provided at the other end part. The bent piece 22 and the engaging part 23 are connected with a plurality of burners 13. When the diameter of the fuel ejection path 19 of the burner is represented by D and the length thereof is L, the relation between D and L is set so that L/D>=4. by this construction, the flame is dispersed in a large number and the quantity of heat generated is discharged from the flange and the fuel ejection path so that the flame temperature is lowered and NOx is reduced.
