Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently suppress the rolling to be generated in a vehicle during running on a road surface or the like having a low coefficient of friction by correcting a torsional quantity of a stabilizer according to a coefficient of friction between a wheel and the road surface. CONSTITUTION:A control device M0 adjusts a torsional quantity of a stabilizer connecting unsprung members of right and left wheels in a vehicle according to a running condition of the vehicle. The control device M0 includes means M1 for detecting a coefficient of friction between the whels and a road surface and means M2 for correcting the torsional quantity of the stabilizer according to the coefficient of friction detected. When the coefficient of friction is small, for example, the torsional quantity of the stabilizer is corrected to a relatively small value. Accordingly, when the vehicle is turned on the road surface having a low coefficient of friction, the generation of reverse rolling due to excess control of the torsional quantity of the stabilizer is prevented.
