Abstract

PURPOSE: To offer inlaying method capable of inexpensive manufacture not limited in shape or substance of material to be fabricated by forming a hollow on surface of outer shape of material to be fabricated and mounting decorating material at the hollow after punching out the outer shape of material to be fabricated by pressing. CONSTITUTION: By conducting formation of hollow 1a to fill decorating material 2 on material to be fabricated 1 and punch-out of its outer shape, the other face on the material 1 opposite to the face that has the hollow 1a to fill decorating material 2 is formed so as to maintain the plane of the material 1. Therefore, finishing is not necessary after forming the material 1 into the component material of prescribed article because cutting treatment process for cutting/ removing surplus material to be fabricated that is produced by forming the hollow 1a becomes unnecessary on the opposite face where the hollow 1a is formed as finishing treatment. Therefore, unit price of components is lowered by that amount.
