Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition outstanding in weatherability, wear resistance, tensile elongation and water resistance, suitable for films, sheets, lighting materials, sign-boards, display boards etc., comprising each specific acrylic graft copolymer and fluoropolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 1-99wt.% of a graft copolymer with a graft rate of >=30% constituted chiefly of A1: 70-100wt.% of a 1-8C alkyl-carrying acrylic alkyl ester and A2: 0-30wt.% of a 1-4C alkyl-carrying methacrylic alkyl ester, prepared by polymerization of (i) 50-90wt.% of a monomer mixture comprising 60-100wt.% of the component A2 and 0-30wt.% of the component A1 in the presence of (ii) 10-50wt.% (on a solid basis) of a crosslinked elastomer emulsion with an average particle size of 300-2,000Angstrom and (B) 1-99wt.% of a fluoropolymer, i.e., honopolymer or copolymer of formula I (X and Y are each H, F, Cl or CF3) or formula II (R is 1-3C fluoroalkyl).
