Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition outstanding in heat distortion and impact resistances, thermal fluidity and thermal stability, by incorporating a vinyl chloride-maleimide polymer with a tin-based stabilizer and zeolite. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a copolymer prepared by suspension polymerization between (i) 20-95(pref. 40-90)wt.% of vinyl chloride monomer, (ii) 5-40(pref. 10-30)wt.% of (N-substituted) maleimide, and, if needed, (iii) 0-40(pref. 0-30)wt.% of ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer elastomer with (B) 0.1-10(pref. 0.5-5)pts.wt. of a tin-based stabilizer (e.g. dibutyltin maleate-, methyltin mercapto-based one) and (C) 0.1-10(pref. 2-6)pts.wt. of zeolite (pref. crystalline zeolite capable of ion exchange; e.g. A type, X type).
