Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a wiring for control and a wiring for telephone sets and to reduce the burden of a wiring construction, by providing a control function to control electric equipment, etc., at a home telephone set having plural telephone sets, and controlling the electric equipment, etc., with the aid of the wiring for respective telephone sets. CONSTITUTION:A home telephone set 100 consists of a control exchange 20 connected to a trunk line terminal 1 by a wiring part 10, a relay unit 30, a display unit 40, a sensor unit 50, and telephone sets 2, 3, and 4 to serve as an operating means. The control exchange 20 has a telephone exchanging function to select one out of the telephone sets 2-4 and to connect it with a line wire or to select any two out of the respective telephone sets and to connect the two extentions, the control function to operate the relay unit 30 according to a signal from the respective telephone sets or trunk line, a displaying function to display the operation condition, etc., of the relay unit 30 on the display unit 40, and a security function to operate the display unit 40 based on an abnormality generating signal from the sensor unit 50 or to transfer the information contents to respective telephone sets.
