Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a Kepler type finder which has high magnification and a high variable magnification rate although its constitution is compact, by composing a 2nd lens group of two positive lenses with positive refracting power and a negative lens with negative refracting power in order from an object side. CONSTITUTION:The 1st lens group 1 of an objective lens is given negative refracting power and a 2nd lens group 2 consists of the two positive lenses and one negative lens and has positive refracting power and a real finder image is formed by a 3rd lens 3 to facilitate aberration compensation. Further, the 2nd lens group 2 is formed by arranging the positive, and negative lenses in order from the object lens side to move the principal point of the 2nd lens group 2 forward and also shorten the gap between the 2nd lens group 2 and 3rd lens group 3. Consequently, the small-sized finder which has the high magnification and high variable magnification rate is obtained.
