Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize the space for providing a lighting duct and lighting body by providing a hologram formed with the interference fringes by the plane waves projected to one face and the spherical waves projected from an end face directly or indirectly to a part or the entire part of a transparent plate body. CONSTITUTION:The laser light oscillated from a laser oscillator 11 is bisected by a beam splitter 12. One of the split laser beams is projected as plane waves through a reflecting mirror 13, a convex lens 14 and a convex lens 15 and the other as spherical waves through a convex lens 16 disposed in such a position where the focus F thereof exists at the end face of a photosensitive material 16, respectively, to record interference fringes. The fringes are thereafter recorded by an ordinary method, by which the hologram 3 is produced. This hologram 3, the photosensitive material 6 and a polyester film 5 are adhered to the transparent plate body 1 to constitute the lighting body. The incident light over the entire surface of the hologram 3 is condensed to the end face of the hologram 3 and is guided to the photodetecting end of an optical fiber 4. The space for providing the lighting body and the light guiding duct is thereby minimized.
