Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the efficiency of an assembly process and at saving the labor therefor by providing such an arrangement that parts are bit by bit fed semi-automatically onto a receiving pan in a take-out part outside of a hopper from a discharge port when a worker pushes down the pan storing bolts, nuts or the like as it is required. CONSTITUTION:During an assembly work, when a worker sets his one hand on a take-out part of a receiving pan 2 and pushes down it as indicated by the arrow, the receiving pan 2 is rotated as a whole in the same direction about hinges 3, 3 as indicated by the chain line, so as to enlarge the opening area of a discharge port 9 through which small parts stored in a storage section A pass accordingly, along the inclination of the bottom surface 2a of the receiving pan 2. Therefore, the parts are semi-automatically fed into a take-out port of the receiving pan 2 bit by bit. When the worker releases his one hand from the receiving pan 2 with a suitable timing, the receiving pan 2 is returned to a position indicated by the solid line due to the resilient force of a spring 4, causing the discharge port to decrease its opening area, and accordingly, the supply of more parts onto the take-out part B is inhibited.
