Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of conveyance by orientating and conveying staples such as natural fibers or the like with the use of a Coanda spiral flow which is produced by charging pressurized gas. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized gas is fed into a main cylinder 2 in a lateral direction through a pipe 7 and a slit 3 so as to create a Coanda spiral flow while staples are charged in an introduction port 6. With this arrangement, the staples are sucked into under a large suction force by the Coanda spiral flow, and are conveyed through the pipe 7 in a spiral flow. The staples are orientated along a spiral locus. With this arrangement it is possible to efficiently orientate and convey the staples.
