Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable arrangement of high density to be performed, by arranging a second electrode as common use at an end surface on a discharge port side of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A pair of a first electrode 113 and a second electrode 114 opposed to each other which are established by electrically connecting to a thermal resistant layer provided on a substrate 103, and an electrothermal conversion element in which a heat generation part is formed between those electrodes are installed. Then, the electrode 113 is formed independently correspondingly to each electrothermo-conversion element in such a liquid jet recording head. Then, the second electrode 114 is taken as common use, is wired to an end face S1 on a discharge port side of the substrate 103, and is connected to a driving circuit round a side edge face S2.
