Abstract
PURPOSE:To cut the number of shift clock signal input terminals down to just one even with many shift paths by using plural flip-flops of an output stage to deliver alternatively the shift path selection signals. CONSTITUTION:The shift clock signals 10S are successively supplied to a shift path selection circuit 9. Thus the flip-flops 951-95n of an input stage are actuated alternatively. As a result, the flip-flops 961-96n of the next stage are also actuated alternatively. Thus an optional or prescribed shift path selection signal is obtained by selecting optionally or sequentially those signals 10S which are supplied to the circuit 9.
