PURPOSE:To prevent partial loading of a grindstone and intrusion of abrasive grains by using a circular cylindrical grindstone and pressing an end surface of the grindstone to a body to be ground while rotating the grindstone around a central axis inclined to a plane vertical to an axis of rotation of a cylinder comprising an electroconductive material. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical grindstone 1 is used. The grindstone is not present in the neighbourhood of an axis 10 of revolution where the peripheral velocity of the axis is almost zero.
