Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable continuous radioactivity monitor in the time of discharge of drain by connecting a transfer pipe to the upstream of a seal water radiation monitor of a sea water discharge piping from a nonradiation drain sump. CONSTITUTION:A discharge piping 3 is connected to the discharge side of a nonradiation drain sump pump 2, and a transfer piping 4 is made by the confluence of a plurality of discharge pipings 3. The transfer piping 4 is connected to the upstream of a sea water radiation monitor 11 of each sea water discharge piping 10 of an auxiliary cooling facility through a double check valve 8 and a stop valve 9. A change valve 6 is provided between discharge pipings 3. Therefore, radioactivity can be monitored continuously and piping setting of the transfer piping can be reduced.
