Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the rotary time of a sampler and to enhance treatment capacity, by arranging large number of sample containers to a plurality of the concentric circular tracks on a sampler of a table system and providing a plurality of reset positions. CONSTITUTION:In a sampler 2 of a table system, every six sample containers 1 of the outer peripheral track and every five sample containers 1 of an inner peripheral track are arranged coaxially and respective positions 50, 51, 54... are set to reset positions. When the first sampling position is a position 46 and the sample container ready to be sampled next is present at the position 52 or 53, the change-over of the outer peripheral track to the inner peripheral track is performed at the position 50 or 51. The sampler performs positioning rotation up to the nearest reset position at first and subsequently issues instructions so as to perform rotation in a rotary direction less in the quantity of rotation up to an objective position.
