Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a suitable gap between the center section of a rotor disposed in a casing and a tongue section facing the center section of the rotor even though the rotor is deformed during operation so as to prevent generation of noise by forming the tongue section in a recessed shape. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 12 disposed in a casing 11 is rotated in the direction X, air subjected to heat-exchange by a heat-exchanger 14 flows in the direction Y. At this time when the rotor is deformed only in its center part by a predetermined value epsilon since the rotor 12 is supported at its both ends. However, since a tongue section facing the rotor 12 in the casing 11 is cut off in its center part, the gap between the center section of the rotor 12 and the tongue section 13 may be maintained such as beta alpha. Accordingly, even though the rotor 12 is deformed during operation thereof, it is possible to reduce generation of noise without lowering the air blow capacity.
