Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure directional stability and to conduct safe operation by applying select low control to a wheel in the rear of the gravity with respect to the advancing direction of a vehicle, that is, a front wheel on detecting the backing of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:During advancing movement of a vehicle, a back switch 15 is turned off, and vehicle back detecting means 16 controls operation and lock- state detecting means 12. Only when both of two wheels for a front wheel directs to lock-state, a pressure reducing command is simultaneously given or when the respective wheels direct to lock-state, a pressure reducing command is output to a hydraulic circuit of the wheel. On the other hand, at the time of backing, the back switch 15 is turned on, and vehicle back detecting means 16 conducts select-low control such that a pressure reducing command is given simultaneously to front wheels when either of two wheels directs to lock-state through operation and lock-state detecting means 12. Thus, the directional stability at the time of backing is secured and the steering performance can be kept as it is to secure the safety of operation.
