Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a change in the specification for the time of snowfall by forming a supporting shaft formed integrally with a wiper linkage and a wiper arm so that the linkage length can be adjusted through a guide groove and a rack, and a semi-circular geartooth part, and allowing the upper and lower reversing positions of a wiper to respectively make a circular motion. CONSTITUTION:A wiper device is formed so that a wiper linkage 3 connected with a wiper motor can oscillate around a supporting shaft 8 of a wiper arm 6 to which a blade is mounted integrally with the wiper arm 6. Further, the linkage length can be adjusted by providing the supporting shaft so that the position of the supporting shaft 8 can be freely adjusted relative to the wiper linkage 3 by means of a guide groove 3b. By a rack 3c inside the wiper linkage and a semi-circular gear tooth part 8a of the supporting shaft 8, the linkage length can be adjusted, and the upper and lower reversing positions of the wiper can respectively make a relative circular motion. Particularly when the linkage length is adjusted to be extended, the wiper is adapted to make a relative circular motion to the side of the upper reversing position and thereby the lower reversing position is adapted to make a circular motion upward, so that a change in the specification for the time of snowfall is simplified.
