Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the amount of nutrient absorbed in a plant, by intermittently subjecting a culture solution to magnetizing treatment. CONSTITUTION:A culture solution 2 is passed through a magnetizing device during circulation. A magnetic field having about 1,000 gauss is applied to between magnetic poles 7 and the culture solution is subjected to magnetizing treatment for about 10sec by a timer device 11. After then, the magnetizing treatment is suspended for about 70hr to eliminate magnetizing effects of the culture solution. The suspension is also carried out by the timer device 11. A plant is cultivated by repetition of the magnetizing treatment and the suspension. Since absorption of nutrient solution of plant is excessive when suspension period is short, the suspension time may be changed depending upon kinds of plant and growth state.
