Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent distortion from being generated in an image, by replacing the image element information of a defective image element and a low- sensitivity image element with normal image element information adjacent in a direction of an oscillation scanning after scanning. CONSTITUTION:Light transmission boards 301 and 302 oscillate and scan a visual field 21 in a horizontal direction or a vertical direction by the n-image element of a solid-state image pickup element 20, and allow one and the same part of the visual field 21 to make incident on the adjacent and different image elements of the solid-state image pickup element 20.
