Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a press product by moving connecting rods in the axial direction of a crank shaft so that the suspension center of a slide can be freely adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A pair of eccentric parts 3A of the crank shaft 3 are fitted to the holes 8B of the connecting rods 8 and the rods 8 are provided freely slidably with the eccentric parts 3A. The pointed parts 8A at the bottom ends of the rods 8 are freely glidably fitted to sliders 14. The sliders 14 are disposed freely slidably in the axial direction of the crank shaft 3 via guide members 16. A pair of the sliders 14 are driven by means of servo motors, etc., via a worm wheel 19 and a worm shaft 20 and the connecting rods 8 are moved parallel in the direction of the crank shaft 3. The positions of the center of the press load and the center of the load that a blank receives are, therefore, aligned and the inclination of the slide 9 is prevented. The product quality is thus improved.
