Abstract

PURPOSE:To incorporate a general ISDN terminal equipment and a high function terminal by assigning plural overall service digital networks (ISDN) terminal numbers to one subscriber allocation position and storing in advance subscriber information for each terminal number so as to retrieve the required subscriber information in response to a call request. CONSTITUTION:A maximum of 8 terminals are subject to plug-in connection to one subscriber location of subscriber line protocol control sections 5, 6 when ISDN terminal equipments 1-4 take bus type configuration in their subscriber wiring. Subscriber information is provided for each ISDN terminal number assigned in this way and the corresponding subscriber information is retrieved by using a call terminal number represented by a call request packet in 64kb/s (B channel) call request signal or 16kb/s (D channel) call request packet and the result is used as the call terminal subscriber information. Thus, the general ISDN terminal and the high function terminal are incorporated together.
