Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain stereoscopic vision without giving pain to a person by displaying always simultaneously two pictures in a system where pictures for right and left eyes are respectively to be observed to right and left eyes so as to realize the stereoscopic vision. CONSTITUTION:A right eye picture signal 1 and a left eye picture signal 2 are outputted to a picture synthesizer 5, the right/left eye picture is synthesized and displayed simultaneously on a display device 7. A voltage switching generating circuit 10 applies control the synthesized picture displayed on the device 7 into a polarized angle for the right eye picture light and that for the left eye picture light to make the polarized angle of the right/left picture lights different by 90 deg.C thereby separating the synthesized picture and displaying the right/left eye pictures to right/left eyes simultaneously independently. Thus, in observing the right/left pictures by the observer, the right/left pictures are not given to its brain while being deviated timewise as a time division system. Thus, the picture is harmonized in the brain easily and the person can observe the stereoscopic vision pattern for a long period.
