Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce the subject textile excellent in harshness by heterogeneously mixing a polyethylene terephthalate with a polyarylate, further mixing the former to lead the mixture to blended fiber filaments and weaving by using the blended fiber filaments as warp yarn, weft yarn, or the like. CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyethylene terephthalate is mixed with (B) a polyarylate obtained by reacting a bisphenol with an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (e.g. terephthalic acid, etc.), in a weight ratio of the ingredient A: the ingredient B of (70:30) to (97:3) to form a heterogeneous mixture in which each ingredient is independently dispersed. Then, the heterogeneous mixture is blended with the ingredient A to cause a weight ratio of (1:3) to (1:5) to form a multifilament fiber yarn having >=1 denier of single yarn denier, and the objective textile is woven by using the multifilament fiber yarn as a warp yarn or a weft yarn, or warp and weft yarns.
