Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled nozzle for wet-spinning, effective in remarkably prolonging the cleaning cycle of the dope-ejection face of the nozzle, by coating the ejection face with a platinum group metal (oxide) or its thereby preventing e.g. the formation of crystalline foreign materials on the face. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer 2 consisting of a platinum group metal (oxide) or an alloy composed mainly of said metal is formed on at least a spinning dope-ejection face of nozzle 1 for the wet-spinning of a chemical fiber. The thickness of the coating layer is preferably 1mum at the dope-ejection side and 0.2mum at the side of spinning groove. The material of the nozzle 1 is usually stainless steel, etc.
