Abstract

PURPOSE:To approach the capacitance of a capacitive element for phase compen sation to a required minimum capacitance by connecting plural capacitive elements in parallel together with a semiconductor switch and closing the switches in order till the oscillation is stopped in detecting the oscillation of an operational amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:Semiconductor switch groups 5, 6 are all opened in the initial state of a monolithic semiconductor integrated circuit 1 at application of power. Oscillation is caused to operational amplifier circuits 2A, 3A, then oscillation detection circuits 2f, 3f detect the oscillation and give a detection signal to a switch control circuit 7 to control semiconductor switches 51, 61. If the oscilla tion is not stopped, the number of connected capacitive elements 41-4n is in creased sequentially by the changeover of semiconductor switches 51-5n and 61-6n. Thus, a phase compensation capacitance of the required minimum value or a value close thereto is given to the operational amplifier circuit 2A. Then the switch control circuit 7 acts on the operational amplifier 3A similarly to stop the oscillation of the operational amplifier circuit 3A.
