Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title wax free from trouble at room temperature, excellent in storage stability, etc., and useful for cold cup coating, bonding paper to metal, etc., by using a paraffin was having a specified blocking temperature as the principal component. CONSTITUTION:A paraffin wax (A), as the principal component, of a small standard deviation, a high n-paraffin content, a high blocking temperature (ASTM D1465) at most by 10 deg.C lower than the m.p., and an m.p. of 60-90 deg.C is optionally mixed with a polyolefin wax (B) which has a softening point of 65-90 deg.C and can give a mixture having a minimum penetration value (hardness) when mixed with component A.
