Abstract

PURPOSE:To cope well with increasing current output without increasing profile of generator, by projecting many flat board fin elements from an arched or polygonal fin base. CONSTITUTION:A generator comprises a casing 1, a rotor 2, a stator 3, cooling fans 4, a rectifier diode 5, cooling fins 6 therefor and other electronic components. The cooling fans 4 are arranged at front and rear sides and coupled with a rotary shaft 7 thus rotating integrally with the rotary shaft 7. Base for the diode 5 and the cooling fins 6 is constructed with double rings and many fins are arranged on the outer circumferential face of the outer ring and on the inner circumferential face of the inner ring. Cooling air delivery ports 8 are made through the outer circumference of casings 1A, 1B and cooling air suction ports 9 are made through the sidewalls of the casings 1A, 1B.
