Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform phase correction at a high speed by small-scale hardware, by multiplying the complex conjugate output being the output of a difference channel receiver by the output of a sum channel receiver and standardizing the obtained product to determine a phase correction value. CONSTITUTION:A sum channel receiver 7 and a difference channel receiver 8 detect the phases of the signals selected by switches 5, 6 on the basis of a reference signal to convert the same to complex signals. A complex conjugate operator 9 calculates the complex conjugation of the output of the receiver 8 and a complex multiplier 1 multiplies the output of the receiver 7 and that of the operator 9 and the output of the multiplier 10 is standardized on the basis of the value predetermined by a calibration signal generator 4 by a standardizing operator 18. This value is held to a correction value holder 11 and allowed to multiply the output of the receiver 8 after the switches 5, 6 are changed over to an adder 2 and a subtractor 3 by a complex multiplier 12 to correct the phase difference of the receiver 8 to the receiver 7 and angle measuring operation is performed by an angle measuring operator 13. By this method, phase correction is performed at a high speed by small-scale hardware.
