Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve recording sensitivity, by a method wherein a specific compound obtained by reaction of diisocyanate with a compound which contains one active hydrogen in one molecule is contained in combination of a colorless or faint color coloring dye and a color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:Tetramethylene diisocyanate, pentamethylene diisocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, etc. are exemplified as a diisocyanate which is made to react with a compound having one active hydrogen in one molecule. Alcohol, especially alcohol which has a benzene ring is preferable as a compound which has one active hydrogen in one molecule from a standpoint of its compatibility with a coloring dye and a color developing agent. An example of a compound which is obtained by reaction of diisocyanate with the compound having active hydrogen is shown below. Further, it is necessary that a melting point of this compound is within a range of 70-160 deg.C.
