Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a clutch which is capable of absorbing a shock and also, has a stepless speed change function by arranging a free intermediate plate between a plate on the drive side and a plate on the driven side. CONSTITUTION:The 1st drive side rotary body 4 and the 2nd drive side rotary body 6 are united in one body, and the 2nd drive side rotary body 6 is fitted to a rotary shaft 2 by means of a key 8. A driven side rotary body 10 is rotatably fitted against the rotary shaft 2 by means of bearings 12. A spline 14 in the direction of the rotary shaft 2 is formed on the outer surface at the 2nd drive side rotary body 6, and on the other hand, a spline 16 in the direction of the rotary shaft 2 is formed on the inner surface at the driven side rotary body 10. Drive side plates 18 and driven side plates 20 are arranged alternately one by one, and intermediate plates 22 are arranged between these neighboring drive side plates 18 and driven side plates 20.
