Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently take out produce from a container without damaging the same, by grasping both ends of a sheet member and suspending produce along with the sheet member to place the same on a sorting line and recovering the sheet member on the way of feed. CONSTITUTION:In a method for taking out the produce 28 such as the cucumber received in a container 24 from the container in order to transfer the same to a sorting line 32, a sheet member 26 is preliminarily laid on the bottom part of the container and the farm products are placed on the sheet member to be received in the container. At least both end parts of the sheet member are grasped by a grasping apparatus 10 and the produce are suspended along with the sheet member to be placed on the conveyor 34a of the sorting line 32 to release the grasping of the sheet member. On the way of the feed on the conveyor, for example, when the leading end of the sheet member 26a reaches the space between conveyors 34a, 34b, compressed air is injected from an air nozzle 40 and the sheet member 26a is pushed is pushed in the gap between the conveyors 34a, 34b from the leading end thereof to be recovered.
