Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a rice cooker for securing sufficient heating time and preventing rice cooking time from being prolonged by providing a first heat generation control means for controlling the heat generation of a heating body and a second heat generation control means for controlling the heat generation of the heating body to turn the temperature of a pot to a rice cooking completion temperature by counting end signals. CONSTITUTION: The heating body 2 is heated over a strong fire by a heating control means 6, and when it is detected that rice inside the pot 1 reaches a boiling temperature by a lid sensor 4 and a boiling detection means 7, a timer means 8 is operated and time required for the moisture absorption and gelatinization of brown rice is counted.
