Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the adjusting time and to save number of components by using a variable transconductance circuit of gain cell constitution and using a current obtained through the input of a modulation signal and a fixed current proportional to the transconductance as a charge/discharge current of a multivibrator. CONSTITUTION:In deciding a modulation signal as control currents IC1, IC2 as shown in figure in a voltage current conversion circuit 30 converting the modulation signal into the control current, the sum of the control currents is an output current of the circuit 30. The current IC1 is a fixed current and adjusted by a variable resistor VR3. The modulation signal inputted between terminals 21, 22 is subjected to current conversion by a resistor R13, amplified differentially by transistors(TR) Q14, Q15, the current is converted in a way that the absolute value is proportional to the current IC1 by the Gilvert system gain cell configuration comprising TRs Q16-Q19. The current IC2 converted in this way is added to the current IC1 to become a charge/discharge current of the multivibrator 20.
