Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid double parking at the same section by using a voice output to inform idle parking sections detected by a sensor set at each parking section to drivers and at the same time avoiding those informed idle sections from being treated as the vacant sections for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:The sensors, e.g., metal detectors S1-Sn set at parking sections P1-Pn detect the presence or absence of cars parking at those parking sections and send this detecting result to a signal processing means 7. The means 7 always monitors the parking state by signals received from sensors S1-Sn. Then the means 7 selects one of idle parking sections and outputs this in voice through a voice output device 3 via a voice synthesizing device 6 when a parking rate exceeds a prescribed level. Then the means 7 is controlled so that said sections outputted, in voice is not treated as an idle section within a prescribed time set by a timer 9.
