Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the quantity of the thermal off track of a magnetic head to a minimum by regulating the one end of the same direction of respective rotary cylinders to an axial direction, thermally expanding the other end and matching the thermal expanding direction of the respective rotary cylinders to the thermal expanding direction of the spindle side of a disk. CONSTITUTION:A spacer ring 14 is interposed between the bearing 3b of the upper rotary cylinder 2 and an adjusting screw 5 and a pressurizing spring 4 is disposed between a bearing 3a and a flange 12, so that the upward movement of the upper rotary cylinder 2 is regulated to thermally expand downward and make the direction of the thermal expansion the same as that of the lower rotary cylinder 2 and the spindle side. Therefore, the heat of a spindle motor etc., is transferred to the respective rotary cylinders 2, and then, it is thermally expanded to similarly displace the magnetic disk mounted on the spindle and the magnetic head mounted on the rotary cylinder 2.
