Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently control a superheat degree by providing a control means for calculating and outputting a control signal for deciding a valve opening of an electric expansion valve based on refrigerant information to be output from respective sensors and rotational speed information corresponding to a rotational speed of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: Detected signals from a refrigerant temperature sensor 8 arranged at an inlet portion of an evaporator 5, a refrigerant temperature sensor 9 arranged at a suction inlet portion of a compressor 1 and a rotational speed sensor for detecting a rotational speed of the compressor are input to a control circuit 7, which in turn generates at its output a control signal for deciding a valve opening of an electric expansion valve 4, and the control signal is given to the valve 4. When a switch for operating a refrigerating cycle is closed, the circuit 7 judges the state of a rotational speed Nc of the compressor 1 based on the signal given from the rotational speed sensor, controls so that a superheat degree S.Hcs of the suction side of the compressor 1 becomes suitable at the time of a high speed rotation, and controls so that the superheat degree S.Heo of an outlet side of the evaporator 5 becomes optimum at the time of a low speed rotation.
