Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a drain by providing a dehumidifying rotor, utilizing activated charcoal or the like, between a suction filter of a compressor and its compression chamber and removing the humidity from suction air before its compression process. CONSTITUTION:In the case of an oil feed type screw compressor, a dehumidifying device, constituted of a dehumidifying rotor 2, regenerating fan 5, regenerated air filter 3, regenerated air heater 4 and a dehumidifying rotor driving motor (not shown), is provided between a suction throttle valve 6 of the compressor and its suction filter 1. The dehumidifying rotor 2 is constituted utilizing an adsorber agent of baked glass or activated charcoal and the like. And the dehumidifying rotor 2 adsorbs the humidity in suction air, being rotated by a motor changing a phase to a regeneration side, here by introducing one part of exhaust of cooling air, increasing its temperature by a heat exchange in an oil cooler 16, to the dehumidifying rotor 2 through the regenerated air filter 3 and the regenerated air heater 4, the air is regenerated.
