Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance and high speed rotation ability of an impeller used for a centrifugal compressor and the like by forming the impeller of resin compound that is matrix resin consisting of blended plural specified resins and reinforced by means of reinforcing fiber. CONSTITUTION:An impeller 1 is, for example, sandwiched between a sleeve 2 and a washer 3, while fixed to the shaft part 5 of a centrifugal compressor by means of a nut 4. The impeller 1 is made of resin by compression molding or injection molding or the like. In this case resin used for the impeller is composed of resin compound made by reinforcing a matrix resin, that is, blended matter of polyether sulfone resin and polyether ketone resin by means of a reinforcing fiber. Bursting during high speed rotation can be eliminated, accordingly, since the heat resistance of the impeller 1 is improved and the deterioration of strength is suppressed even in a high temperature range of 150 deg.C or more.
