Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely defoam on an electroplating bath contg. dispersed fine particles and to enable the long-time continuous use of the bath by sprinkling a plating soln. over the foam and/or agitating the foam. CONSTITUTION:A plating soln. is sprinkled over foam produced on the surface of an electroplating bath contg. dispersed fine particles to remove the foam. The foam may be removed by being agitated. The foam can be effectively removed by simultaneously carrying out the sprinkling of the plating soln. and the agitation of the foam.
