Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable manufacture of a screw-like body of high accuracy, economically, by a method wherein a linear synthetic resin material is turned centering around its center while discharging linearly viscous synthetic resin through a noncircular discharge port formed on a mold. CONSTITUTION:After viscosity has been given to a synthetic resin material 1 by heating and melting the same, the same is discharged linearly through a noncircular discharge port 3 formed in a mold and turned around its center. With this construction, as the linear synthetic resin material 1 is twisted, a remote part 1a from the center forms rise spirally around a part 1b close by the center and it becomes that the remote part 1a from the center of the synthetic resin material 1 and the outside of the part 1b close by the center of the synthetic resin material 1 form a crest and trough of a screw respectively. Therefore, the linear synthetic resin material 1 after discharge constitutes a screw-like body A. Thus, when a discharge speed and rotary speed of the synthetic resin material 1 are made constant, the screw-like body whose accuracy is high always can be manufactured and material waste is not generated.
